Yorkshire Pudding and Onion Gravy.
You can take the man out of Yorkshire, but you can’t take… well, you know the rest.
If you haven’t tasted this manna from heaven, you haven’t lived. Apparently, ambrosia – the food of the gods’ in Homer’s Iliad was, in fact, Yorkshire pudding and onion gravy. And, that little fact, was straight from the lips of Aphrodite. (I could taste it on her lips.)
The French claim to have invented it. But, guess what? The clue’s in the name, people. And, if I’m not mistaken, the only French pudding I know, is the philanderer, Francois Hollande.
